Level Monitoring
Allows the measurement of the vertical movement of damaged property over time. This can indicate whether a section of a building is being subjected to heave or subsidence.
Distortion Survey
A distortion survey is a measurement of the manner and extent to which a building has deformed. It can detect which section of a building might be rising or falling.
Crack Monitoring
(aka gauge monitoring) Measuring the width of any cracks that have appeared in a building can indicate whether the building is still moving and the regularity to which this movement is taking place.
Verticality Survey
Conducting verticality surveys allows any roof spreading to be indicated and can also distinguish between subsidence and heave. Verticality surveys can also help in detecting slope instability.
Deep Datum Installation
To allow precise monitoring of any structure a fixed point of reference is essential. A deep datum provides the monitoring technician with exactly that.
