Reads Structural Monitors Ltd have been providing a comprehensive structural monitoring service, an essential element in subsidence and heave investigations, for over twenty years.
We specialise in undertaking, precise level monitoring, crack monitoring, distortion surveys and verticality surveys to residential and commercial properties allowing accurate assessment of structural movement to an accuracy of a fraction of a millimetre.
Upon attendance of the site, our team of experienced technicians will create a scaled plan of the structure, indicating the positions of any level monitoring points and crack monitoring stations installed. If a deep pile datum is required we can arrange its installation and will indicate its position on site through the site plan.
Our friendly and courteous staff will arrange mutually convenient appointments with the residents of the property, allowing us to return to the site periodically to conduct precise monitoring of the structure. Monitoring intervals are typically 6-8 weeks, but we are happy to accommodate any interval desired.
All the data collected on site is recorded in an electronic document and forwarded to our clients within 2-3 days of completion. Our standard format is M.S. Excel, and M.S. Word but we are happy to accommodate alternative formats if required. All our electronic records are backed up regularly providing a welcome insurance against data loss.
